I recently was in North Austin and shot the St. Johns neighborhood. This area is an older neighborhood in Austin and has a lot of interesting things to shoot. It has older buildings along with newer development. I was approximately at these GPS coordinates.
I shot these pictures on Ilford HP 5 plus which is an ISO 400 film and is grainy, but it gives you that vintage black and white look. This was shot with my Pentax K1000 with a 50 1.8 lens and a yellow filter. Ilford HP 5 plus is very similar to Kodak Tri-X film, which is also iso 400. Film as always is expensive and not as convenient to shoot as digital, but it is fun.
