Taking ultrawide pictures of downtown Austin

I recently took some pictures of downtown Austin with my Nikon 18-35 AF-D. This is one of the worst lenses that I own. Corner sharpness is not good even when stopped down to F/8. However, corner sharpness isn’t important since nobody looks at the corners of a photo. It is cool to have an ultra sharp lens, but in reality most lenses are fine for photography.

I had not taken any ultra wide pictures in a while and with the amount of new buildings in Downtown Austin I wanted to get some pictures. I could have gone in the evening to get better light, but sometimes you can’t take photos at the ideal time of day. I edited these photos in Lightroom and applied Dehaze which cuts down on haze in photos.
