I was in Bastrop and decided to check out the gas station used in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie which was made in 1974. You can click here to see the station filmed in the movie. For directions to the station use the GPS coordinates below:

The station today is a restaurant and serves BBQ. In the back of it are cabins that you can stay in for a fee. There also an old van parked outside the cabins, which is the same make and color of the van used in the movie. I don’t think this is the actual van used in the film. Besides BBQ, the restaurant sells horror movie merchandise. For more information on the station, click here.
I stopped in for about 30 minutes and snapped off some pictures, which I will post below. I was using my Nikon D850 with my 24-70 f/2.8G. I shot both JPEG and raw as usual. I was shooting in Vivid mode with the saturation maxed out. I have posted the JPEGS I have shot with some adjustments in the shadow detail.
